Agrisana Srl produces bulk extracts from raw materials of plant origin using an extraction method based on the technology of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in its supercritical state.

This innovative technology offers significant advantages over traditional extraction methods based on the use of chemical solvents and steam. The supercritical CO₂ is in fact a non-toxic and inert solvent which has high lipid solubility at low temperatures: these characteristics allow to obtain, in an extremely selective way, plant extracts of oily nature not contaminated by chemical solvents without any thermal stress.
